Immigrants all over the country are being targeted for phone scams. Scammers pretend to be a USCIS official and call immigrants saying there is a problem with their immigration record and demand immediate payment to fix the problem. The victims are threatened with deportation if payment is not made immediately. Special software is used to imitate the USCIS 800 phone number. Please note that USCIS officials rarely call customers on the phone, and WILL NEVER ASK FOR PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE. If a payment is needed, USCIS will send a letter on official stationery requesting payment.

Seize The Chance To Evaluate

Every semester, CU Denver students have opportunities to evaluate each of their courses and instructors using a standard questionnaire called the Faculty Course Questionnaire (FCQ). Check your  UCD email to receive an invitation to participate in the FCQ process. Your FCQ feedback is truly important! CU Denver values every student feedback and relies on it to maintain and enhance the high-quality education it provides.

  • The FCQ results will go to individual instructors for use in improving their courses and teaching performance; to department chairs and deans for use in course assignments and in promotion, salary, and tenure decisions; and to students for use in course selection.
  • Problems identified in FCQs will be addressed by CU Denver leadership.
  • Your FCQ responses are totally anonymous. No FCQ response can be traced back to a student when instructors receive their FCQ results.

We hope that you seize the opportunity to provide feedback that will support faculty development and course improvement by completing this assessment to the best of your ability.
